Tigers Take all the Turkey at the Turkey Duals

The Tigers started the season off with three wins against Region 8 opponents included a district win over Cordova at the annual Turkey Duals competition. Arlington met Houston in the first dual and defeated the determined Mustangs 38-30 with pins by Morgan 126, Donahue 145, Phillips 152 and Josh Worley 170.

Next up was district rival Cordova but they did not fair any better falling 66-12 to your Tigers. The Tigers were led by pins from Morgan 126, Kerns 138, Phillips 145, Hull 160, Josh Worley 170, Jordan 182, Milton 220 and Jon Worley 285.

The final dual of the day was against Bartlett. Your Tigers were up to the challenge posed by Bartlett with a final score of 42-32. Important pinfall victories came from Kern 138, Phillips 152, Cockman 160, Worley 182, and Antcliffe 195.

Next up is a very challenging 6-team dual competition at Father Ryan on Saturday, November 25, 2017. Perennial D2 winners such as Father Ryan and Montgomery Bell Academy will be attending along with A-AA contender Dickson. The Tigers will also be looking to avenge their very short-handed loss last year to Clarksville Northwest on Saturday.
