Tigers win 2017 G.P. West/Bruin Invitational

Your Tigers headed to the 2017 GP West/Bruin individual tournament for the first time on Friday and came home as overall team champions. With only 10 wrestlers out of 14 making the trip the odds were against the Tigers placing in the top 5 but some great wrestling by all of the boys including 5 wrestlers in finals matches led Arlington to overall victory.

Reed Cannon won first place at 113lbs and Luke Kerns 126, Harrison Phillips 138, Todd Roaten 220 and Johnathan Metcalf 285 were runners-up at their weight classes. Aaron Moore took home 3rd place at 182lbs and Austin Baudoin and Logan Erickson finished 5th at 145lbs and 170lbs respectively.
