Tigers Place Eighth at Deep South Invitationals
Your Arlington Wrestling Tigers finished an impressive 8th of 40 strong teams at the Deep South Invitational Duals held in Baton Rouge, Dec. 28-29. The finish was an improvement over last year's 11th place. Teams from Louisiana, Georgia, Alabama, Texas, Oklahoma, Wisconsin and Tennessee competed over two days. The Tigers 7th place finish is the best by a Tennessee team in the history of the event.
Red Flag Day Finishers
Arlington Wrestling held its annual Red Flag Day fitness competition yesterday to determine the fittest wrestlers on the team. Two hours of non-stop, grueling activities resulted in only six wrestlers finishing the event. Those six wrestlers, Reed Cannon, Caleb Morgan, Connor Caskey, Harrison Phillips, Monty Hardin and Ray Hardin, were awarded special Arlington Wrestling socks that they can now wear with pride.
Arlington Repeats as Clarksville Slamfest Champions
Your Arlington Tigers continued another strong season by repeating as tournament champions at the Clarksville Slamfest Duals. Arlington swept their pool duals and then continued their domination with an impressive win over Mt. Juliet, the tenth-ranked Tennessee AAA high school team.
