Our Community

Arlington Supports Us and We Support Arlington

Arlington Wrestling is proud to be part of the Arlington, Tennessee and surrounding areas community.  We feel our wrestlers have a responsibility to give back to the same community that supports our school, supports our fundraisers and cheers for our wrestlers when they are on the mat.  

Our goal this season is to make an impact in the community in several ways:
 

National Kidney Foundation

Each year, Arlington Wrestling participates in National Kidney Foundation's Annual Kidney Walk to raise awareness about kidney disease.  Wrestlers and families were proud to support this worthy charity and helped raise donations for the Connor's Crue team, named in honor of Connor Nettleton, son of Arlington Wrestling's Youth Head Coach, Chris Nettleton.

Arlington Community Schools

Annually, we support Arlington Community Schools through the Arlington Education Foundation.  For the last several years our wrestlers, families and friends have participated in the Arlington 5K Run sponsored by the the Arlington Chamber of Commerce and local businesses. We have a great showing each year and we looked awesome in our special 5K Arlington Wrestling t-shirts.  A large portion of the entry fee to this 5K Run is donated to the Arlington Education Foundation which in turn donates funds to our local schools.

Town of Arlington

Finally, we volunteer our time and labor to work with Arlington Parks & Recreation on park beautification projects.  We look forward to making the Town of Arlington a better place to live and enjoy for all residents.  With our wrestlers and volunteer parents and siblings, we have the numbers to make quick work of these projects and still get in a solid workout in the process!   Look for our wrestlers wearing their Arlington Wrestling t-shirts at a park near you!
